The Blood on Satan's Claw - poster

Released in 1971 and originally called Satan's Skin, a British reporter wrote several pieces on the fil while it was being made, and in doing so coined the phrase "Folk Horror". Thus some film historians credit Blood on Satan's Claw as being the first true folk horror movie.
