For many horror filmmakers making a "Stephen King Movie" is a right of passage. In the early 80's it was John Carpenter's turn, and we're so glad he was paired up with Christine. Carpenter's no nonsesne style is a perfect match for King's straight forward story of a boy and his demon car.
