Pointing to a book like William S. Burroughs' Naked Lunch and telling David Cronenberg that it is "unfilmable" is like waving a red blanket in front of a bull.
Starring the amazing Peter Weller, the plot is basically a surreal story about a drug addicted exterimator who stumbles into a conspiracy involving large bugs. Burroughs used this plot device as a sneaky way of telling his own life story.... kinda. Also starring Julian Sands and the legend Roy Scheider.
