The Cell (2000) - DVD - used

There was a mad dash in the early 2000's to make the "Next Matrix". That may have been what New Line wanted out of Director Tarsem Singh.... instead we got a colorful nightmare of a film filled with special effects that still hold up, and great villain, and solid "before she was superstar" performance from Jennifer Lopez. 

The Cell is not The Matrix, it's own type of mind f*** that no one was ready for at the time, but has since found a devoted audience.
