The Dead Zone (1983) - Blu-ray - new

Although we often think of The Fly as being David Cronenberg's breakout, "mainstream" hit, a case could be made that his Stephen King adaptation was really the first film that brought him to a bigger audience. Leaning more towards "mind horror" than the usual gore he was known for, and working with Christopher Walken, Martin Sheen and Tom Skerrit, The Dead Zone is easily one of the more underrated "Stephen King movies" of the 80's. Fun fact: this was produced by Debra Hill.
